On Friday December 02, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., many of Apsley's local retail businesses will be participating in a Holiday Hop! Come show your support and shop local this holiday season with some awesome finds and special offers.

Santa Claus Parade and Children's Party.
The Apsley and District Lions Club is hosting their annual Santa Claus Parade and Children's Party on Saturday, November 26, 2022. The Parade is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. at the Apsley Public School, continue along Burleigh Street, to Wellington Street, and then along Jack Lake Road to the North Kawartha Community Centre (NKCC), where more festivities ensue.

"Chuck it in the Bucket"
The North Kawartha Roads Department is looking for your support through donation in support of the annual "Chuck it in the Bucket" Holiday Food Drive to help support the "North Kawartha Food Bank".
The front-end loader will be stationed at 2 locations over 2 different nights, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Winter Pause for Water Sample Drop-off Program

Peterborough Public Health, the Municipality of Trent Lakes, and the Township of North Kawartha are pausing their joint well water sample drop-off program for the winter. The final date for county residents to drop off their samples to the North Kawartha Municipal Office and the Trent Lakes Municipal Office is Thursday November 24, 2022.
The free well water sample drop-off service will return next year at both locations, starting the first week of April in 2023. Throughout the winter...

Public Notice The Municipal Office will be closed on Friday November 11, 2022 for Remembrance Day.The Municipal office will re-open on Monday November 14, 2022 at 9:00 am.
Garage & Recycling
The Haultain and Anstruther Transfer Stations will be open on Friday November 11, 2022 with regular hours.
Anstruther Transfer Station Hours: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Haultain Transfer Station Hours: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Garage and recycling collection is not affected.
