Please note that Hulls Road, south of Northey's Bay Road (County Road 56) has been re-opened following the closure due to a failed Beaver dam to which caused road area flooding on Monday, May 1, 2023.

Please be advised that Hulls Road, south of Northey's Bay road (County Road 56) is closed due to a failing Beaver dam, to which has flooded the road area.
Residents on Hulls Road are asked to avoid the flooded area, however access to houses/cottages on Hulls Road is not affected. Residents on the North Side of the flooded area are asked to enter and/or exit Hulls Road by Northey's Bay Road. Residents on the South...

Public Notice Roadside Brushing
The Township of North Kawartha's Roads Department will be conducting roadside brushing over the next weeks. Starting Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the Township Excavator, and the brushing head equipment will be upon Windsor Road.
Roads being brushed will be closed, local traffic only.
Roadside brushing will take place only when weather permits, as winter operations is of top priority.

Staff are working diligently to address storm concerns.
Hydro outages continue. Stay away from downed lines. Hydro One outage report line is 1-800-434-1235.
The Roads Department staff is unable to deal with trees that have a downed power line close to them, we need to wait for Hydro One.
Most roads are passable. However, Lasswade Road is closed.
Hillcrest FR10 and Cheboutequion are local traffic only.

Reduced Load Restrictions Lifted April 28, 2022

Due to favourable weather this Spring, Peterborough County and the Township of North Kawartha Reduced Load restrictions are being lifted on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
