A WATERSHED CONDITIONS STATEMENT - WATER SAFETY is issued when conditions, such as high flows and unsafe banks, pose a serious safety risk.

Hockey Jersey Challenge

As the North Kawartha Knights and the Lakefield Chiefs begin the Junior C. Hockey Playoffs North Kawartha Mayor Carolyn Amyotte has issued a friendly challenge to Selwyn’s Mayor Andy Mitchell.
The losing teams' Mayor will wear the Hockey Jersey of the winning team at one of their Township Council Meetings and at the Peterborough County Council Meeting.

Family Day Office Closure Notice

Public Notice
The Municipal Office will be closed Monday, February 18th, 2019 for Family Day. We will reopen Tuesday, February 19th, 2019 at 9:00 am.
Have an enjoyable Family Day!
Please note there is no curbside garbage or recycle collection, collection will resume the following Monday. Also, both Transfer Stations will be closed as per the regular winter schedule.
Please note the NKCC and Fitness Centre will be open with regular hours.
