The Council of the Township of North Kawartha will be holding a Special Meeting of Council for the purpose of: A Roads Tour to be held on Friday September 27, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
It is Council’s intent to Tour the following Roads, time permitting and please note that this list may not be all-inclusive.

Notice of Construction: Rehabilitation of County Road 504

Please be advised that the rehabilitation of County Road 504, within the Township of North Kawartha from County Road 52 (locally known as Jack Lake Road) easterly approximately 0.7 km will commence the week of September 3rd, 2019 with a duration of approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks. This rehabilitation will include pulverization, restoration of cross fall, hot mix asphalt paving and rock blasting.

Updated Notice of Construction from the County of Peterborough for the Replacement of the Crowe River Bridge.
Please be advised that County Road (CR) 504, from CR 620 to Glen Alda Road, will be closed to all through traffic until the end of October. Access for local traffic only will be maintained.

Labour Day Public Notice

Public Notice
The Municipal Office will be closed Monday, September 2nd, for Labour Day.
We will reopen Tuesday, September 3rd at 9:00 a.m.
Waste Management
Curbside collection on Monday September 2nd, 2019 will run as normal. For missed curbside collection, call 705-742-4268.
The Haultain and Anstruther Transfer Stations will be open with Sunday operating hours, 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Monday September 2, 2019.

Please be advised that the rehabilitation of Gazelle Trail and Sable Court will commence on Monday, August 26th 2019. Construction will resume for approximately one (1) month. Traffic can expect intermittent delays when traveling in this area. As a result of this project, County Road 54 (Balmer Road), Antelope Trail and Impala Hills will see increased construction traffic.
