Notice of Construction; County of Peterborough for the Replacement of the Crowe River Bridge

Please be advised that the replacement of the Crowe River Bridge within the Township of North Kawartha located on County Road (CR) 504 approximately 2.0 km south of CR 620 (Glen Alda) and approximately 0.2 km north of Glen Alda Road will commence the week of April 22, 2019.
CR 504, from CR 620 to Glen Alda Road, will be closed starting the week April 29, 2019 to all through traffic for the estimated duration of eighteen (18) weeks of construction. Access for local traffic only will be maintained....

The County has closed the Crowe River Bridge for repairs near Glen Alda - a detour is in effect
Tallon Lake Road- limited summer maintenance portion is closed due to a washout.
Mindle Road is closed due to washouts.
If you have an emergency concerning a road please call 705-926-0150 for the Roads Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If it is not an emergency please call 705-656-4796 extension 243.
Unexpected Service Disruption of Phone Service at the Municipal Office

There is currently an unplanned service disruption that has disconnected our phones at the North Kawartha Municipal Office, 280 Burleigh Street, Apsley.
The service disruption will be until further notice to permit repairs to the phone line.

The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority has CANCELLED the FLOOD WATCH issued on the 15th of May 2019 effective immediately, 17 May 2019.
