Chief Fire Officials from the Townships of Douro-Dummer, Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, North Kawartha and Trent Lakes

Rescind the Open-Air Fire Ban Effective Saturday, May 16th, 2020

Following the lead of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, the Townships of Douro-Dummer, Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, North Kawartha and Trent Lakes will rescind their respective open-air fire bans effective May 16th at 00:01 hours (12:01 a.m.).

Valid burn permits previously obtained will be re-instated. For information on open-air burning By-laws or to obtain a burn permit please contact your local municipality.
