The Fire Ban has been lifted for North Kawartha Township You must have a valid burn permit. (available on our website and select locations – please see our Burn Permit page for more information) Night time only burning from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Ensure you have adequate water and do not leave your campfire unattended. A total fire ban is in place due to extremely dry conditions within the Township of North Kawartha.
Absolutely no fireworks or open air burning is permitted.
You will be notified when the fire ban has been lifted.
