Rose Island Road Washout April 21 2019As an update, as of April 21, 2019, Rose Island Road is closed due to a washout. Several attempts have been made to resolve the washout. Repairs will be completed, as soon as possible, after the water recedes. Please obey the signs. An image is attached.
Jeff Road and Mill Lake Road are closed to through traffic. Access to local traffic only. Water may be over the roads in low lying areas, currently Anstruther and Haultain Roads. Long Lake Road is reduced to a single lane....

Please be advised that there have been multiple Flood Warnings and Flood Watches issued for our area, including North Kawartha. Crowe Valley Conservation Authority released a flood warning April 19 which may impact the Chandos area. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (NMRF) and Otonabee Conservation have also issued announcements which effect the remainder of the Township including the Stony Lake area.
