The Greater Peterborough Area Economic Development Corporation operates a Business Advisory Centre that offers free professional consultations, by appointment, to advise business owners and entrepreneurs about key aspects of start up and maintenance of successful operations. Community Futures Peterborough |
The Community Futures Peterborough is a not-for-profit corporation, run by 16 volunteer Board of Directors. CFP staff under the guidance of this Board of Directors, generate and assist in the creation of employment opportunities by supporting small business through flexible financing and business counselling services. The CFP receives operational support for 3 full time staff through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario. This year marks the 30th anniversary. The CFP has been assisting the Peterborough community since 1985. All business counselling servies are confidential and free of charge. Some of the things they can help with include:
