The Township of North Kawartha hosts Special Clean-Up Days at the Anstruther Transfer Station, the last of which are the Fall Clean-Up Days  on Sunday, October 9th and Thanksgiving Monday, October 10th from 10 am to 4 pm both days.    

At this event the Anstruther Transfer Station will accept items such as mattresses, couches/sectionals, and love seats/recliners (tipping fees will apply to these items).

Please be advised that County of  Peterborough's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot, will NOT be open at this event. The final day for the HHW Depot in 2022, is Wednesday, September 21st.
