Riverview Park Survey

Did you know there is a small shoreline park on Eels Creek in Apsley, just off McFadden Road called 'Riverview Park'?  As part of the Municipal Strategic Plan, Council is considering the future of this shoreline lot on Riverview Cres. and is seeking input and feedback from the Public before making a formal decision.  Over the past 25 years Riverview Park has not been in use and has reverted back to its natural state.  As part of the Strategic Plan, Council requested a Staff Report outlining the minimum steps required to make the property safe and usable as a park.    A Staff Report was received at the July 13th Council meeting, which outlined the steps and estimated cost ($71500) to restore the park.  Council is now seeking Public feedback to help determine the next steps and the best use of this property.  Therefore, below are the links to the Council meeting agenda on July 13, 2021 and September 7, 2021 where this matter was discussed.
