Dog Licence

Dog Tags can be obtained by completing the licence form online or by calling the Municipal Office at 705-656-4445 ext. 232. 
Once all information is provided the Licence, Dog Tag and Invoice will be mailed to the address provided. 

If you are unable to complete the dog licence online please call the municipal office 705-656-4445 ext. 232 or you may visit the Municipal Office during office hours.

COVID-19 Notice: Please note that the Municipal Office is currently closed to the public.  For your convenience you may obtain your dog licence by completing the application online or by calling the municipal office 705-656-4445 ext. 232.  You can send your payment via mail or drop the payment (cheque or exact cash) in our drop box located to the right of the main door.

Dog Licence Fees

An annual licence fee shall be levied upon every dog owner in the township.
A maximum of three dogs are permitted per any single dwelling unit (with the exception of kennels).

Kennel Operators

Kennels operators must obtain a yearly kennel licence from the Township. The kennel owner shall conform to guidelines set by this municipality prior to a licence being issued.

All dog waste (feces) must be picked up from private or township property.

Online Dog Licence Application

Please note:  Once you complete and submit the online dog licence application below you will be mailed (to the address provided in your application) a copy of your licence, your dog tag and an invoice (payable to the Township of North Kawartha).  You can return your payment (made payable to the Township of North Kawartha) by mail or by cash or debit at the Municipal Office.
