In an Emergency - Dial 911 - Police, Fire and / or Ambulance
Please dial 911 if you are experiencing a life threatening or property emergency. 911 calls are directed to Police, Fire and Ambulance. Be prepared to provide:
- your exact location, address, town / city
- your telephone number including area code
- nature of your call, services required
- stay on the line until advised to hang up
Emergency Services
Emergency Services is comprised of Fire Services, Emergency Medical Services and Police Services and is supported by administrative services such as Emergency Management, Public Education programs and the Police Services Board. Ambulance and paramedic service is provided by the Peterborough County and City Emergency Medical Services Department. Local hospitals are located in Peterborough (Peterborough Regional Health Centre) and Bancroft (Quinte Health Care North Hastings). The emergency services headquarters is located at 10193 Highway # 28 in Apsley.
CPR/First Aid Course |
A CPR/First Aid course can be arranged through the Fire Department if there is enough people interested. If you have a group of people interested in taking the course please contact the Fire Chief. |
