Fitness Classes

The NKCC Fitness Centre is at 340 McFadden Road.

Group fitness classes through the North Kawartha Fitness Centre may include Core and the wildly popular Spin Bike classes.

Conducting these classes are fully certified instructors, and these classes are both fun and produce results.

It is not necessary to have a Fitness Centre Membership to participate in these classes. However, a participant who holds an Annual Fitness Centre Membership receives a 10% discount off any class fee.

Payment is by cash, cheque, or debit. Cheques made payable to: Township of North Kawartha

If the minimum numbers of participants are not registered, the class will not run.

To ensure the running of these classes, please register in advance.

Core

Core exercise is the foundation of building a well-rounded fitness program. Targeting the pelvis, lower back, hips, and abdominal regions, results in a stronger core, as well as improved posture and balance. If you're looking for a fun and challenging workout, this is your class!

To receive the full benefit of this program, classes are held twice a week, for a period of three weeks.

Fees

Two classes per week for three weeks $52.50 + HST

Drop in Fee $12

Spin
 

A fantastic 45 minute leg and cardio workout! Spin classes provide a wide variety of exercise intervals that will give all participants a challenging and fun workout. (Minimum of 5 participants).

Yoga
 

Friday Morning Yoga with Barb Shaw

Six weeks of gentle vinyasa yoga, somatic movement and mindfulness.

First class: September 21, 2018

Last class: October 26, 2018  

Friday mornings 10:00 am to 11:00 am 

Friday yoga classes are offered at the Wilson Park Community Centre located at 66 Northey's Bay Road, Woodview, ON K0L 3E0.

Fees

One class per week for six weeks - $60.00 for the session, or $15 per class.

Payment is by cash or cheque. Cheques made payable to: Barb Shaw

Please register in advance.

Drop-ins are welcome, but please note, this is a class for adults.

Students need a mat, water and lose clothing.
