Fitness Classes

Group fitness classes conducted at The North Kawartha Fitness Centre may include Core and the wildly popular Spin Bike classes. Conducting these classes are fully certified instructors, and these classes are both fun and produce results.

It is not necessary to purchase a Fitness Centre Membership to participate in these classes, however, the requisite registration forms must be filled out and are valid for 12 months. A participant who has purchased an Annual Fitness Centre Membership receives a 10% discount off any class fee.

Payment is by cash, debit, or cheque made payable to: Township of North Kawartha

If the minimum numbers of participants are not registered, the class will not run.

To ensure the running of these classes, please register in advance.

Core/Resistance Training

Building from the Core out, this class will strengthen and tone the entire body, targeting all major muscle groups. If you're looking for a fun and challenging workout, this is your class!

To receive the full benefit of this program, classes are held three times a week, for a period of three weeks.

Fees

Three classes per week for three weeks $78.75 + HST

Drop in Fee $12

Spin

Is it time to ramp up your cardio? If so, join our 45 minute session. It will take you through a series of hills, time-trials, and intervals, that will burn calories and kick start your metabolism!

Yoga

These classes are offered at the Wilson Park Community Centre located at 66 Northey's Bay Road, Woodview, ON K0L 3E0.

Friday mornings 10:00 am to 11:00 am

One class per week for four weeks - $40.00 for the session, or $15 per class.

Drop-ins are welcome, but please note, this is a class for adults.

Students need a mat, water, and loose clothing.
