Curbside Collection Update for Monday, January 26, 2026
Public Notice
Due to current weather and road conditions, curbside garbage collection has been cancelled on all roads within the Township of North Kawartha for Monday, January 26, 2026.
In addition, curbside recycling collection has been cancelled on private roads only. Curbside recycling collection on main roads will continue as scheduled. If recycling has not been collected by 5:00 p.m. today, residents are asked to please retrieve materials from the curbside.
A double garbage and recycling collection will be accepted on Monday, February 2, 2026.
Residents may also bring their garbage and recycling to either of the Township’s transfer stations during regular business hours.
