Service Disruption Notice : Curbside Garbage collection Delayed for Thursday, September 17, 2026

The Township of North Kawartha would like to advise residents that curbside garbage collection scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2026, was not completed on the following roads due to an equipment issue experienced by Waste Connections Canada.

Waste Connections Canada has advised that collection of the missed garbage on the roads listed below will take place tomorrow, Friday, September 18, 2026.

Residents are asked to bring any uncollected garbage back from the curb this evening and place it out again by 7:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Open and Closed Meeting Procedures

All meetings of Council are open to the public with the exception of closed meetings of Council held under Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act. The Township of North Kawartha has appointed a Closed Meeting Investigator and authorizes the Investigator to conduct investigations upon receipt of a complaint to determine compliance with the Act or the Municipal Procedural By-Law and to report on the results of such investigation.
