Notice of Intersection Closures for MTO Culvert Replacement in Hamlet of Apsley

The Township of North Kawartha has been notified by J&P Leveque Bros. Haulage Limited, the contractor for the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO), of the upcoming culvert replacement work at two intersections along Highway 28 within the Hamlet of Apsley.

1. Mill Lake Road and Highway 28
   This intersection is scheduled for one single day of full closure on Monday, September 29, 2025.
   
   
2. Burleigh Street and Highway 28
   This northern intersection, that leads to the municipal office, is scheduled for one single day of full closure on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Detour signs are in place to assist the travelling public and residents around the intersection closures.
