Notice of Temporary Road Closure

The Township of North Kawartha is sharing the following notice on behalf of the County of Peterborough and would like to advise residents and motorists that the south leg of Johnson Road at County Road 620 will be temporarily closed from July 28 to July 30, 2025.

This closure is required to accommodate the installation of a cross culvert on County Road 620. The project is being completed by Drain Bros. Excavating Limited on behalf of the County of Peterborough and includes the use of the closed section as a safe staging area for construction equipment.

Detour signage and safety measures will be in place throughout the duration of the closure to assist with traffic flow and ensure public safety.
