Canada Day Municipal Hours
The Municipal office will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, for Canada Day and will re-open on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 9:00 am with normal business hours.
Parks & Recreation
The North Kawartha Community and Fitness Centre will be open with weekend hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
Garbage & Recycling
Per the summer schedule, the Haultain and Anstruther Transfer Stations will be open on Canada Day with normal operating hours.
Curbside Garbage and Recycling collection on Monday, June 30, 2025, will operate as normal. Please have your material out at the curbside by 7:00 am.
For missed curbside garbage collection, please call Waste Connections at 705-742-4268 and for missed curbside recycling collection, please call Emterra at 1-888-597-1541.
