Important Notice: Postal Service Disruption

Due to a strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Canada Post services, including mail delivery, will be disrupted in the Township of North Kawartha. Here’s what you need to know to ensure your documents, payments, or correspondence reach us on time:

Payment Responsibilities
During the Canada Post labour disruption, property owners remain responsible for ensuring payments for property taxes, permit fees, renewal fess, or invoices are made by their respective dur dates.
Payment Options During the Disruption 

In-person payments  Accepted methods: Cash, Debit, or Cheque 

  • Location: Municipal Office at 280 Burleigh Street, Apsley, Ontario, K0L 1A0 
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (closed Statutory Holidays)

After-hours drop off  A secure mail slot is available to the right of the Municipal Office's main entrance.

Direct bill payments through your bank  You can pay property taxes directly through your banking institution.

Credit Card payments Online or by Phone  The Township partners with Paymentus, a secure third-party service, for online or phone credit card payments (MasterCard or Visa).

Public Notice - Municipal Office Closure on Friday, November 29, 2024

The Municipal Office will be closed between 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, in support of a corporate function. 

For your convenience during the office closure, the mail slot to the right of the front door of the Municipal office is available.
