The Township of North Kawartha is reminding residents to confirm they are registered to vote for the upcoming Municipal Election taking place on October 26, 2026.

Ontario's voter registration process has changed. The Municipal Voters List is now managed through Elections Ontario instead of Municipal Property Assessment Cooperation (MPAC). 

Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to:

• Confirm they are registered to vote
• Update their information if needed
• Add themselves to the voters list if they are not already registered
