  • Voter Information Letters Have Been Mailed

    The Township of North Kawartha has mailed Voter Information Letters to all registered voters for the 2026 Municipal Election.

    Most voters can expect to receive their letter during the week of October 5, 2026. If you have not received your Voter Information Letter by October 9, 2026, please contact the Township at 705-656-5189 or voterhelp@northkawartha.ca.

    Voting Period

    Voting opens at 10:00 a.m. on October 13, 2026, and remains open until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, October 26, 2026.

    Internet and telephone voting are available throughout the voting period, allowing voters to cast their ballot at a time that is convenient for them.

    How to Vote

    The Township of North Kawartha offers two methods of voting:

    • Internet Voting
    • Telephone Voting

    Voting Kiosks Available

    Residents who require access to a computer, internet connection, or telephone for voting may visit the Municipal Office located at:

    Voting kiosks will be available during regular business hours throughout the voting period. On Election Day, October 26, 2026, voting kiosks will be available until 8:00 p.m.

    Accessibility Support

    Municipal staff are available to provide accessibility assistance to voters. If you require accessibility support, please identify your needs to staff upon arrival.

    Keep Your Voter Information Letter

    Voters are encouraged to keep their Voter Information Letter in a safe place. The letter contains the information required to access the Internet and Telephone Voting system.

  • Are You on the Voters List for the 2026 Municipal Election?
    The Township of North Kawartha is reminding residents to confirm they are registered to vote for the Municipal Election taking place on October 26, 2026.
    Ontario’s voter registration process has changed. The Municipal Voters List is now managed through Elections Ontario instead of Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC).
    Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to:
    • Confirm they are registered to vote
    • Update their information if needed
    • Add themselves to the voters list if they are not already registered
