Important Notice - Postal Service Disruption
Residents are advised that the Canada Post strike, effective Thursday, September 25, 2025, may result in delays or disruption of mail delivery, including correspondence from Township departments.
Property Taxes:
Please be aware that this disruption may affect the delivery of property taxation-related correspondence. Residents with questions regarding their property taxes, including payments received and outstanding balances, are encouraged to contact the Finance Department directly at finance@northkawartha.ca or 705-656-4445 ext. 905
To help ensure timely notification, residents may sign up for electronic billing to receive property tax -related notices by completing the Email consent form.
Property owners are also encouraged to sign up for Virtual Town Hall where they can view information about their property tax account(s) 24/7, such as, but not limited to: Balances, payments made, assessment values, etc.
Planning Notices:
Planning notices normally sent by regular mail will be available on the Township website as the official form of notice during the Canada Post strike.
This includes applications for:
- Zone Amendments
- Minor Variances
- Municipal Shoreline Road Allowances
- Municipal Road Allowances
