Official List of Certified Candidates Announced for the 2026 Municipal Election
The Township of North Kawartha is pleased to announce the official certified candidates for the 2026 Municipal Election.
The following certified candidates have met the requirements of the Municipal Elections Act and have been certified by the Clerk.

Confirm You're on the Voters' List
Residents are encouraged to confirm their voter information and ensure they are on the Voters' List before the voting period opens on October 13, 2026.

Who Can Vote?
You may vote in the North Kawartha Municipal Election if, on Voting Day (October 26, 2026), you:
- Are a Canadian citizen;
- Are at least 18 years of age;
- Reside in the Township of North Kawartha, or own or rent property in the Township (or are the spouse of an owner or tenant); and
- Are not otherwise prohibited from voting under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.
How to Vote
Eligible electors in North Kawartha will be able to vote by internet or telephone from October 13 to October 26, 2026.
Eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter by mail well in advance of Election Day. The package will include voting instructions and a unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) that is required to cast a ballot online or by telephone.
