Public Consultation Notice

Spectra Point Inc, agents of Rogers Communications Inc. are proposing to install a 90-metre guyed wireless communications tower at 1480 County Road 504, Apsley. The proposed site would be utilized to provide high quality 4G and 5G wireless network coverage and capacity for products and services such as cellular phones and wireless internet in the surrounding area. The site will also support enhanced emergency services communications for police, fire, and EMS response.

The proposed installation would include a tower structure, an equipment shelter, access road, and underground connections for power and fibre services. The site has been selected to address coverage gaps identified through subscriber feedback and engineering assessments.

As part of the required public consultation process through Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), residents and property owners within a 270-metre radius of the proposed wireless communications site have been notified by mail or courier of the public consultation notice.
