Public Notice: Anstruther Transfer Station Closure

The Township of North Kawartha is advising residents that, due to current weather conditions, the Anstruther Transfer Station, located at 400 Anstruther Lake Road, Apsley, is closed today, Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Both Township transfer stations are expected to reopen on Friday, January 16, 2026, with regular winter operating hours as follows:

• Anstruther Transfer Station: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Haultain Transfer Station: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
