Public Notice - Family Day Hours and Closures

The Municipal office will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, for Family Day and will re-open on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 9:00 am with normal business hours.

Parks & Recreation 

The North Kawartha Community and Fitness Centre will be open with weekend hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, on Monday, February 16, 2026.

Free Family Day public skating will be offered on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the North Kawartha Community Centre, courtesy of the Township Council.

Garbage & Recycling 

The Haultain and Anstruther Transfer Stations will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, per the winter schedule. 

Curbside Garbage and Recycling collection will operate as normal. Please have your material out at the curbside by 7:00 am.
