Mill Lake Road and Haultain Road Closed Due to Elevated Water Levels

Wednesday, April 15, 2026

The Township of North Kawartha is advising residents that the following roads are closed until further notice due to flooded road conditions caused by elevated water levels:

    • Properties northwest of the bridge can be accessed via Highway 28
    • Properties southeast of the bridge can be accessed via Peterborough County Road 620

  • Haultain Road is closed west of address #128

These closures are necessary to ensure public safety and to prevent further damage to the road network.

These roads will remain closed until flooding has cleared and it is deemed safe to reopen. Updates will be shared by the Township.

Public Works staff are actively monitoring all Township roads and will provide updates should additional closures be required.
