Special Closed Meeting of Council on November 12, 2026
Please be advised that the Council of the Township of North Kawartha will be holding a Special Closed Meeting in the North Kawartha Council Chambers, 280 Burleigh Street, Apsley, for the purpose of Council Education / Training related to New Council Orientation on Thursday, November 12, 2026 @ 9:30 a.m.
The meeting is pursuant to Section 239 (3.1) of the Municipal Act which permits a meeting to be closed to the public if the following conditions are both satisfied:
- The meeting is held for the purpose of educating or training the
members. - At the meeting, no member discusses or otherwise deals with any
matter in a way that materially advances the business or decisionmaking of the council, local board or committee.
The Agenda is available on the Township website. The meeting will start and end in the public forum with the education/training portion closed to the public.
