Register to Vote for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections

You can use Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration service online tool that allows eligible Ontario electors to confirm, update, add or remove their voter information for Ontario provincial and local elections, including elections for municipal Council Members and School Board Trustees. 

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) remains responsible for collecting information about school support. To update your school support information, visit MPAC’s online School Support tool.

Public Notice - Updated Curbside Collection Information for Private Roads and Fire Routes

The Township of North Kawartha is providing an update to previously shared information regarding curbside garbage collection on Private Roads and Fire Routes.
Due to ongoing weather and road conditions, Monday, January 5, 2026 curbside garbage collection on Private Roads and Fire Routes is cancelled, and will not be rescheduled this week.
Please note:
  • Collection will not be rescheduled for Tuesday, January 6, 2026, as previously communicated
  • Double collection will be accepted during the next collection date on Monday, January 12, 2026
  • Residents may also bring their garbage to either Township transfer station free of charge during regular operating hours
