The Township of North Kawartha advises residents and visitors that Fitch Lane Road will be temporarily closed for one-day to accommodate culvert repairs.

Please plan accordingly and allow for alternative travel arrangements during the closure.

Please use caution when approaching work zones, Township staff, contractors, and equipment.

Road Closure Notice: Glen Alda Road

September 28 to October 2, 2026

The Township of North Kawartha advises residents and visitors that temporary road closures will occur along Glen Alda Road to allow for multiple culvert repairs.


Dates: September 28 to October 2, 2026
Location: Various locations along the full length of Glen Alda Road
Work: Culvert repairs and replacements


As the road construction progresses, closure locations will move to different areas of the roadway.
While local traffic access will be maintained whenever possible, short-term closures may be necessary at active work sites. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.


Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution when approaching work zones, Township staff, contractors, and equipment.
