Glen Alda Road for Culvert Repair

The Township of North Kawartha advises residents and visitors that temporary road closures will occur along Glen Alda Road to allow for multiple culvert repairs.

Dates: September 28 to October 2, 2026
Location: Various locations along the full length of Glen Alda Road
Work: Culvert repairs and replacements

As the road construction progresses, closure locations will move to different areas of the roadway. While local traffic access will be maintained whenever possible, short-term closures may be necessary at active work sites.

Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.

Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution when approaching work zones, Township staff, contractors, and equipment.

Residents requiring special access accommodations, or anyone with questions regarding this work, are encouraged to contact the North Kawartha Public Works Department.
