Temporary Road Closures - Tallan Lake Road

The Township of North Kawartha advises residents and visitors that temporary road closures may occur along Tallan Lake Road to facilitate culvert repair work.

• Construction Window: November 3 to November 13, 2026
• Location: Tallan Lake Road, limited-service portion
• Purpose: Culvert repair

During the construction period, work may take place at various locations along Tallan Lake Road. As work progresses, closure locations may change and short-term road closures may be required in active work areas.
 
Local traffic access will be maintained whenever possible; however, brief delays and temporary closures should be anticipated.
 
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
 
Motorists are asked to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and exercise caution when approaching work zones, Township staff, contractors, and equipment.
